Stones for Zen

I got so fed up with our "flower bed". It's such an eyesore. We used to have beautiful flowers growing there but the harsh sun and creeping weeds ruined them.

Solution: Transform the pain into zen.

Its a work-in-progress. I'd like to add more dwarfs/gnomes there. Whoever heard of Snow White and the Two Dwarfs?! But then again, I can only put additions in slowly. Those dwarfs don't come cheap.

A little bit of Disneyland I suppose. Since we won't be able be able to take the kids to Disneyland yet, we'll therefore bring Disneyland to the kids! Mia likes to sit out here and play with the stones.The little Christmas tree is a bonus for the kids. I want to start a tradition for them to decorate their very own REAL tree each Christmas. Mia would be old enough this Christmas to decorate it on her own. Hopefully the tree will grow with them.

Our Disney-themed Zen Garden has been around for nearly a month now, and we still need to pick those pesky grass and weeds out from time to time. At the very least, this part of our yard has become a lot more manageable now.
