Mee Sup Pipin Part 1

Just like our arrival to our brunch destination, this blog entry is VERY LATE! A couple of weeks ago, Fred, Janet and I went to search for the very much talked about "Mee Sup Pipin".
Mee Sup Pipin is located inside Kg Inobong along Jln Tomposik. You need to use the Penampang-Tambunan Road.
Keep a lookout for this signboard as a guide. It can be seen on the right side of the road if you're traveling from Penampang. If you know the "famous" Madam Poili.... well, her house is just next to the Mee Sup Pipin stall!

Food is served in this school-canteen like surrounding during the weekend. During the weekdays, food is served on the front porch of the house just before this stall.

It's advisable to get there as early as you can. They start serving customers as early as 5am on weekends, and 8am on weekdays. We however, only got there around noon. So, we could only order:

Q-Nyuk (pork meat with yam). Super delicious.

Mee hoon soup (with plain white pork meat)

Kon Lau Mee hoon (with plain white pork meat soup)

We walloped everything in about 10 minutes. So go figure!

The walls of this little village stall are adorned with lots of pictures.

Pictures of the menu.

Pictures of their history.

Pictures of the local celebrities who have "visited". Notice anything weird?! (Hint: check out who's giving them a thumbs up?)

Even though we only had plain white pork meat soup with our noodles, the meal was very tasty. We vowed to come to Mee Soup Pipin on a weekday (at an earlier time) to try out their food again. So, they will be a Mee Sup Pipin Part 2 (soon, I hope!).
