By the time the I finally left the house it was 3.00pm. By then, Alan's cough was getting scary once more.
There was another child in the Nebulizer Room also getting the same treatment as Alan. She must be around 2-3years old. She was sitting on her grandmother's lap. The child's mum was on the floor holding an Ipad for her to watch a movie!
Before you yell out, "WHAT?!" I personally think this is where gadgets are useful to distract little kiddies. Being "gassed" in the Nebulizer Room can be pretty scary for a young child:
See the gas? That's Alan. Luckily he was asleep. He did wake up and tried to push the mask away, but mummy's stronger!
After around 10 mins, the machine will stop emitting gas and I just press the "OFF" button on the machine before leaving the room with Alan.
Alan is better now. The scary coughing seems to have stopped. This is how he's sleeping tonight - with a towel dabbed with a bit of eucalyptus oil and placed near his nose, for his blocked nose. He and I are sleeping in the computer room tonight (2nd night now) because we can't have him in an air-conditioned room yet until he has fully recovered. Husband and Mia prefers to sleep in air-conditioned room.
